Argentina

Home Argentina jerseys are tri-colored. White stripes make up the bulk of the body of the garment, while light blue stripes alternate with the white. A light blue section is also found at the top, surrounding the collar, while white and light blue make up the cuffs of the jersey. Dark blue piping runs from the collar down to the cuffs of the sleeves. The Adidas logo is picked out in dark blue, just below the throat of the collar, while the Argentinean team’s logo is displayed on the left breast. Gold accent piping circles the chest area of the jersey.
The away jerseys of the Argentinean team have a very different design. The body is made up almost completely of dark blue, while light blue piping extends from the collar to the cuffs. Light blue accents also run from the collar to the underarm area, while white and blue accents alternate down the sides of the garment. The Adidas logo is white and located just below the center of the collar and the team’s logo still remains on the left breast of the garment.
Brazil

The home World Cup jersey for Brazil is bright yellow, of course, with green accents. A unique green collar tops the jersey, while the cuffs are also green. A green accent band is also located at the bottom of the jersey. The Nike symbol is green, and located on the right breast of the garment, while the team’s logo is on the left breast.
Away Brazil jerseys are done differently than home jerseys. They are blue, rather than yellow, and feature white accents. The collar is white, as are the cuffs of the sleeves. A white band is also located at the bottom of the jersey, while the Nike symbol is white. The team’s logo is still found on the left breast of the garment.
Germany

Home soccer World Cup jerseys are predominantly white, with black edging running from the collar to the midpoint of the armpit. Black piping is also found on the sleeves, while red and yellow can be found down the sides of the jersey. The Adidas logo is centered just under the collar, while the Germany soccer jerseys team’s logo can be found on the left breast.
The away jersey is very different from the home jersey. Red is the dominant color of the jersey. The right shoulder, sleeve and side are black, with white piping on the shoulder. The left shoulder is red with white piping and gold edging is used around the jersey, as well. As with the home jersey, the Adidas logo is found centered below the collar, while the team’s logo is located on the left breast of the garment.

I never thought to look at Jerseys from a graphic design point a view. I definitely see the trends and similarities.
Jersey’s make or break how a team plays. That’s why they are all the same color to bring that sense of unity and oneness. Just think of a viking with horns on his helmet and the likes. How scary would that have been to face. It really speaks for itself.
